#281 • Bradbury Guide Book 1849 Boston - Albany

Part of Timed Railroad Auction 52 (timed auction by Brookline Auction Gallery)

Starting at $20.00

Status: Available

Very old guide book that "charts" the route from Boston to Albany over the Boston & Worcester and Western Railroads. They had these earlier names for another 17 years. 84 pages with chart on one side and description of what you'll see on the opposing page. This is Volume #1, we also have Volume #1 Boston - Albany listed in this auction. It doesn't get much older than this. Interesting that the graphic "tracks" are drawn out. 176 years old and paper is OK. The front cover separated a long time ago and somebody mounted that cover inside of a hard cover binding. Some rubbing and minor chips.
