This lot consists of 2 very different things (1) An authentic Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad Baggage Master hat. Guaranteed to be authentic, older hat with wear to makers hallmark area. I believe that the pins holding the badge on the hat are more recent paper binders. The side buttons do not have the intertwined SR&RL lettering. I have a feeling that Jerry just put this fine badge on a hat for display purposes. It's all about the badge for Maine 2 foot gauge collectors. (2) Maine Narrow Gauge Museum hat with badge. This was the Portland operation that started up when Edaville went "bust". Gerry Angier was a prominent member and probably founder. Cool location in the old Portland Works on the waterfront where locomotives were once built. An interesting memento from a great New England collection.
