#166 • Wooden Frame / Display Board MEC Water Tank Tower

Part of Timed Railroad Auction 52 (timed auction by Brookline Auction Gallery)

Starting at $20.00

L. E. Brown a retired Maine Central carpenter made several frames out of the wood from the MEC North Belgrade water tower. This is one of those frames. It measures about 27" x 32". It'll be a little work to remove the back and add new felt. The felt is a basket case after I removed Jerry Angier's badges from it. There Is a paper label on the back describing the origin of this classic New England piece. Guys have used this type of frame to display badges and baggage tags for a very long time.
