2 celluloid pins: Portland Terminal #38, B&A RR Co 204 - 1916 Maine (Bangor & Aroostook), last a Samoset #4 either waiter or porter. Just to set the record straight and kill an awful myth.... the Maine Central did NOT have an interest in the Poland Spring House. For krissakes, the GTR was the line used to Poland Springs! You can shoot skeet with Poland Spring china. The Maine Central did have the Ricker Company, operator of the Mt. Kineo House and Samoset (Rockland Harbor) on their books for many years. Some dope in the 1980s had a load of Poland Spring china and convinced a few people that it was Maine Central.
