#125 • Bangor & Aroostook Railroad Station Agent Hat Badge

Part of Timed Railroad Auction 52 (timed auction by Brookline Auction Gallery)

Starting at $20.00

Status: Available

An unfinished factory stamped badge in a "New Haven" style. It was probably part of an order where the railroad ordered 100 and the factory knew to make an extra 100 while they had the dies setup. This would not take too much time and would save time the next time an order came in. This unfinished type of badge surfaces all the time and nobody seems to know what they are. It is also flat as a pancake with no curve to fit a hat properly. Nice occupation for the BAR.
