Outstanding Louisiana short line railroad timetable. The Watkins Route was the Kansas City, Watkins & Gulf Railway. This is the September 1895 issue. It is a fairly standard size with 4" x 8 1/2" panels. it unfolds into a 2 x 8 panel single sheet, with no staples. Loads of connections and land promotions. Two maps, one reaching from the east coast and one more detailed of the specific KCW&G trackage in Louisiana. Covers have Denver featured on one side and Boston on the other side. These shortline issues showing grand destinations are great. There is a slight "8-2-75" pencil mark on one cover.
